Dr Jean Vincent Fonou-Dombeu is a Senior Lecturer in the Computer Science discipline of the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the North-West University.
He has published more than forty peer-reviewed papers in journals, national and international conference proceedings.
His research interest is in Ontology Engineering, Semantic Web and Machine Learning; specifically, in ontology development, modularization, ranking, summarization and visualization, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data mining methods for the Semantic Web, knowledge representation and reasoning on the web, and knowledge graphs.
