After accumulating valuable industry experience, Asad Jeewa returned to UKZN to pursue his PhD in multi-objective reinforcement learning. Since then, he has been actively engaged in academia, contributing through MSc student supervision, reviewing for international conferences, and serving as an external moderator for courses. He is also a member of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research (CAIR) and the National Institute for Theoretical and Computational Sciences (NITheCS).
