Biography

Dr. Tsolanku Sidney Maliehe is a lecturer in the Department of Microbiology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Westville Campus). He holds BSc degree in Biotechnology and BSc-Honours, MSc and PhD in Microbiology from the University of Zululand. He served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Zululand and University of Limpopo. He also lectured Microbiology modules at both Zululand and Limpopo universities. His research focuses on water quality assessment, wastewater treatment, antimicrobial resistance, and bioactive compounds from endophytes and plants.
