Prof Muthulisi Siwela is a Food Scientist, he obtained MSc and PhD (Food Science) from the University of Pretoria. He has served as an academic for more than 20 years at a couple of universities in Southern Africa- much of the period of which has been at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Prof Siwela Successfully served as main Supervisor and co-Supervisor, altogether, of more than 25 masters and 15 PhD students, as well as a couple of Postdoctoral Research Fellows. He has published more than 120 research reports, including more than 95 journal articles.
