2026 STEM MentHER: Empowering the Next Generation of Women in STEM

STEM MentHER UKZN invites teachers and principals to nominate Grade 11 female learners who wish to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers. Successful learners will receive tailored mentorship and guidance from UKZN academic mentors.
Learners will receive 1 year of expert mentorship in their desired STEM field.
Nominated learners can join exactly one STEM MentHER Division (which is closest to their school for travel during school holidays for events):
- University of KwaZulu-Natal
- University of Cape Town
- University of Johannesburg
- University of the Western Cape
- Universitv of Witwatersrand
- Universitv of Pretoria
- North-West University
- Stellenbosch University
