Overview
The Bachelor of Science Honours – Computer Science is offered on the Pietermaritzburg and Westville campuses. The Computer Science (Hons) specialisation equips graduates with advanced knowledge and skills in the field, preparing them for research-oriented postgraduate studies or careers in the tech sector. It deepens their expertise, develops research capacity, and equips them with the necessary tools for solving real-world problems.
Entry Requirements
- Applicants are eligible to apply to register for the Computer Science specialisation in the BSc (Hons) programme if they have previously been awarded a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Computer Science. Note that acceptance into the programme may depend on the availability of places.
