Overview
The Bachelor of Science Honours – Geology is offered on the Westville Campus. The Geology (Hons) specialisation provides deeper knowledge and expertise in the field of geology, develops research capabilities through specialised coursework and a significant research project. It aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
Entry Requirements
- Applicants are eligible to apply to register for the Geology specialisation in the BSc (Hons) programme if they have previously been awarded a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Geology or completed a programme in Geology.
- Limitations on student numbers may be imposed depending on available resources.
Modules
The curriculum for the Geology (Hons) specialisation comprises modules with a total credit point value of 128 credit points as approved by the Senate. The Module GEOL707 may not be repeated.
