Dr Hloniphile Sithole Mthethwa holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics, and is a senior lecturer and researcher in
the Mathematics discipline at the University of KwaZulu Natal. She is supervising postgraduates students in biomathematics, fluid dynamics and numerical analysis. She was awarded a UKZN Wonder Women in Science
Award.
