Agriculture and Science

Dr Barry is a lecturer in the chemistry augmented programme. Upon being employed at UKZN, Dr Barry pioneered the augmented chemistry programme on the Pietermaritzburg campus teaching disadvantaged students first year chemistry. She has a wealth of experience in teaching and curriculum development across a broad spectrum of augmented, general and engineering first year students with over 15 years experience in the field. She holds a PhD in bioinorganic chemistry and is a recipient of NRF Thuthuka research grant funding.
