Dr. Hermane Mambili Mamboundou is a Senior Lecturer and established researcher in Applied Mathematics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. His research focuses on the modelling and analysis of biological systems through differential equations, with a specialisation in optimal control theory for personalised medicine. His work is dedicated to bridging mathematical theory and clinical practice, developing innovative strategies to optimise therapeutic approaches and improve patient outcomes in areas such as cancer care. Dr. Mambili’s pioneering work in mathematical oncology is dedicated to creating data-driven, optimised
therapeutic strategies that directly address critical challenges in cancer care and improve patient prognoses.
