Dr Nhlabathi possesses considerable proficiency in Urban Studies, Urban Geography, and, in Sustainable Cities research. He holds an MBA, Masters Housing, Masters in GIS, and a PhD in Geography. In particular he is fascinated by the concept of sustainable cities, a concept which represents a nexus of environmental and socio-economic processes. Dr Nhlabathi believes that the Geography discipline offers immense insight into both local and global processes that configure cities and localities. Dr Nhlabathi has more than 20 years’ research and teaching experience in Geography.
