Prof Chinhamu has substantial experience in teaching, and research, in Statistics and Data Science. He has lectured and designed curricula at different levels of undergraduate and postgraduate studies at UKZN. Prof Chinhamu has successfully supervised many postgraduate students. He is a member of the South African Statistical Association (SASA).
