Research Interests

  • Development and validation of a ‘One Health’ microbial kit for organic vegetable and millet farmers and growers for sustainable agriculture.
  • Microbiome engineering for growth promotion and biological control of plant diseases.
  • Multi-omics approaches to explore molecular cross-talk between biotic and abiotic stress responses in crop plants for climate resilient agriculture.
  • RNA interference-mediated silencing of fungal pathogen virulence genes for plant trait engineering.
  • Development of signature peptide-proteome biomarkers for rapid and precise detection of crop diseases.
