Biography

Dr Tsolanku Sidney Maliehe is a lecturer and researcher in Microbiology. He holds BSc degree in Biotechnology and BSc-Honours, MSc and PhD in Microbiology from the University of Zululand. He was previously awarded postdoctoral fellowship positions at the University of Zululand and the University of Limpopo. His research interests include wastewater treatment, water quality monitoring, antimicrobial resistance among waterborne and foodborne pathogens and antibacterial activity of microbial and plant metabolites. He is actively involved in teaching, research and postgraduate supervision.
